3rd Annual Joie De Vivre Dakar, Senegal Trip: June 2 - June 10th 2012

For the past three years, Taller Portobelo Norte and Black Pearl Travel have hosted an annual Joie De Vivre Arts & Culture Tour of Senegal, the Paris of Africa.

Participants have attended the Dakar Art Biennial in addition to traveling around Senegal to Toubab Dialaw, Pink Lake, Dangane and Goree Island!

Summer Art Colony - Writers and Researchers Retreat: July 14th - July 29th 2012

The Taller Portobelo Norte Art Colony is two week summer residency program in Portobelo, Panama for emerging and professional artists and scholars. The Taller Portobelo Norte Summer Art Colony attracts a diverse and talented set of individuals to work independently on the continuation of their current projects or the realization of new small works.

The 2012 Taller Portobelo Summer Art Colony is dedicated to Writers and Researchers. We invite writers of all levels and genres and scholars of all disciplines - both creative and academic - to submit project proposals for work to be developed during the 14 day residency.
